CASA DE JOSE ACEVEDO Y GOMEZ CHARALÂ



Fundado en 1993. Sus colecciones abarcan 350 piezas.


Está ubicado en la casa que perteneció a las señoritas Pinzonas. El guión museográfico gira alrededor de la cerámica de la cultura Guane.



Poseía en su antigüedad suficientes barandas y divisiones que la hacía ver un poco más elegante, esta familia le gustaba darle un toque de estilo con la diversidad de plantas ornamentales que se encontraba en sus adentros, hoy en día nada de esto se encuentra. Por el contrario podemos apreciar una vista sencillamente maravillosa ya que se puede divisar la belleza del paisaje natural que esta justamente al frente de esta, como lo es el Parque Principal José Antonio Galán.

    "Manuel Gómez Romano y Sarmiento (born c.1650; died February 6, 1732 in San Gil), a founder of San Gil, and Catarina de la Parra Benítez (born 1659; died August 16, 1729 in San Gil) married on August 30, 1679 in Moncora (now Guane).     4. Pablo Gómez Romano de la Parra (born 1687; baptized September 7, 1687 at age 2 months in Moncora; buried May 15, 1773 in Barichara), whose family continues below.
    5. María Gómez Romano de la Parra (born/baptized 1689 in Moncora).
    6. Diego Gómez Romano de la Parra (born c.1693 in San Gil; baptized 1697 in San Gil; died 1772 in San Gil). Among his grandchildren were the "Tribune of the People" José Acevedo y Gómez (1772-1817) and the politicians Miguel Tadeo Gómez Durán (1784) and Diego Fernando Gómez Durán (1786-1853). The historian and writer Josefa Acevedo y Tejada (1803-1861) was his great-granddaughter.
